Description
Seeing Cairo is a must for anyone visiting Egypt. Our trip to Cairo by plane offers more time looking around the amazing sights and less time travelling.
This trip runs most days. If you choose a day which is unavailable due to flight availability we will offer you different options or a full refund.
We pick you up from your hotel by air-conditioned car/mini bus in the early morning and take you to the airport for your flight to Cairo, where you will be met by your English speaking tour guide.
First you will visit the Egyptian Museum where you will get a guided tour then some free time to explore. After this you will be taken for lunch with the opportunity to see the river Nile. You will then stop at a perfume shop, where they produce beautiful perfume bottles and amazing scents. You will also be given the chance to take a trip down the Nile by felucca boat which is an extra charge and completely optional.
Afterwards you will visit the Pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx, which are two of the best known monuments in Egypt. You will have time to explore the plateau where the pyramids stand and also enter the pyramids (the smallest is free of charge, the other two are at an extra local charge).
Finally you will be taken to the Papyrus Institute where you will learn how papyrus is made and have the opportunity to purchase some if you desire. It will then be time to make the trip to the airport to catch your return flight.
